Welcome to my production site. I'm an LA-based composer/musician/producer/arranger/pianist. This website is dedicated to my work as a composer. I also have another website that focuses more on performances, www.monicaashton.com.
My debut CD, The Monica Ashton Jazz Band came out in October 2007
and has been selling in the U.S., Canada, Europe and Asia. ITunes, www.itunes.com, (search for Monica Ashton), Rhapsody, Amazon and Napster, among others.
I currently have a sampling of some of the songs from the CD up here in MP3 format. I plan to put up more samplings of more recent works, and more "serious" works, both in MP3 format and as notated scores. I am hoping to put together a demo in the near future of film music which will also be put up here.
